Hind Land on show
It is been a busy couple of months for Nick, Matt and I as we have been installing Hind Land for a few exhibitions. The images above are from our show in Rome at 28 Piazza di Pietra. Matt traveled over with us to make a new four channel sound installation using field recording made under the M25. We utilised the basement space to create a site specific installation of the work with one of the images filling an entire wall whilst Matt’s sound piece reverberated around the Roman walls.
The exhibition is on until 31st July so if you find yourself in Rome do pop along.

Tomorrow night (Tuesday 4th June) is the opening of Hind Land at Troika Editions Front Room Gallery in Farringdon. We have printed 5 large (3x2 meter) wall prints that wrap around the dimly lit room which alongside Matt’s sound installation create a fully immersive experience (installation images to follow in the week).
This exhibition is open until the end of June so do head along if you are in London.
We would like to thank Metro Imaging who have produced all of the prints for both shows and have supported the Hind Land project from the beginning. We would also like to thank IdeasTap as I gained an IdeasTap Photography Top Up Fund award which helped produce the Troika exhibition.

Hind Land at Format Festival
Nick and I have returned from a fantastic weekend at Format Festival in Derby. The festival was really amazing and the newly acquired ‘Chocolate Factory’ space is well worth a visit.
We installed a large scale diptych from our series Hind Land at Artsmith as part of the Exposure exhibitions under the festival theme of Factory.
The work was also selected for the Troika Editions Award so we will be installing the work in the Front Room Gallery for a solo show opening at the end of June this year.

Hind Land Publication
Today we went to print for the third Rokov Publishing collaboration. This will be a map which brings together the work of four artists to mark the three exhibitions taking place this year for the Hind Land project.
Check Rokov Publishing next week (when the prints are dry!) for pre orders or visit us at the Format Festival Photo Market in Derby from 8th - 10th March for the official launch.
N.B The best way to proof a print is in the dying light on a palette in the middle of a freezing cold industrial estate.
